So this weekend saw the final round of the 2019 BRCA Truggy and eBuggy National Championship with lots of the top places to be contended. Slough was the venue for this final round and we had some good numbers and the top UK guys in attendance fighting for those last spots.
QUALI
The day started unexpectedly wet which saw practice reduced and us go straight into qualifying - quali went great with both Mitch and Wes making the A-Main in Truggy and Mitch in eBuggy with Matt needing to bump from the B due to a rubbish 3rd round lol
FINALS
Well - all went well really - Mitch leading the Truggy final up until the first fuel stop then remaining high in contention and eventually coming home 4th which meant a 3rd place for the series as a whole and Wes taking a superb 5th.
eBuggy was a challenge for Matt bumping from the B but after being destroyed on the first lap and needing to come in to get his body shell put back on but managed to get back to a bump spot after the 15 mins and progress to the main.
The A-Main was a challenge on a very bumpy track but again we managed some good results again with the MIP Bypass1 shock setup and came home with a 4th for Mitch and a 7th for Matt in the overall championship - happy days.
Dan and I would like to thank ALL the Tekno drivers who have taken the time to do all or part of the series. It really has been great fun and we look forward to doing it all over again this winter at the AWS and then back to the Nationals next season.
